Digital Forensics 101: How is it used to protect an Organization’s Data?

Ryan was recently a guest presenter for a webinar hosted by PECB, on how digital forensics can be used to help protect an organization's data.

Digital forensics is the use of analytical and investigative techniques to identify, collect, examine and report on digital evidence or information. Digital evidence can provide valuable insights during investigations of theft of intellectual property involving multi-party collusion and the misappropriation of organizational assets and resources.  During this session participants will learn various methods of mitigating the “insider threats” to an organization’s digital data and methods of investigating digital evidence contained on computer and mobile systems during internal investigations.
